連結閒置的時間和物資，集合公眾參與使資源增值，轉化為回饋社區的產品及共同的手作體驗。Make4All提出共享經濟下，社區生產重配社會資源的可能性。
Imagine this: you have material waste, someone else has 5 minutes to spare. You could meet in a mobile community design workshop. In the workshop, these resources are transformed to social product for all and a collaborative making experience. This sharing production model could be the future sharing economy.

陌生的產品 The unaware side of everyday objects.
你意識到你手到拿來的電話，背後是一整個牽動社會環境的生產系統嗎？全球化量產不單衍生跨國生產帶來的環境與人權問題，更令人與自身所用的產品來源的認知變得陌生，莫說是產品背後的生產系統。我們認為一件產品對消費者的意義不應只有其功能，更應該有其社會意義。
Do you know where your shoes come from? How about your mobile phone? Beyond user experience, what do you know of products? Every product is an outcome of a complex, globalised system of production and consumption, an outcome of a larger social ecology.
B. Why 點對點消費 ( P2P ) The sharing economy, P2P consumerism
因為這是雙贏的消費，當共享經濟能干預傳統經濟模式，大眾亦從等待財團推出優惠，轉變到互相建立互惠關係。由港人外遊經常會使用的 Airbnb 到國外著名的群眾集資平台 Kickstarter 這些誇區域的網上合作平台，成功體現了，共享經濟比主流經濟的優勢：環保，互信，互惠。
In sharing economy models, people collaboratively create discount, instead of waiting for one, thus building trust and benefiting each other. Airbnb has become as popular as traditional hotels, and Kickstarter an important monetary source for start-ups: These online sharing economy platforms: Green, and foster Trust and Mutual Benefits!

C. 當共享經濟以 P2P ( peer to peer ) 形式活用金錢和現成物，我們能否更進一步， 活用閒置的時間和物資，以共享生產來使到資源更用得其所呢？
Current sharing economy models usually provide money or products as end goals. Somewhere in between we imagine a system to share time and up-cycle materials, fostering making experience and positive social change. Together we will build a mobile community design workshop and work with the public to create objects for a new everyday. Let’s expand the boundary of sharing!
D. 膠樽工房 - 閒置時間及物資的中轉站

再造膠樽 + 閒置時間 Upcycled Plastic bottle + Spare time
透過流動工房設計將膠樽?成膠絲，再集合大家的心力，將膠絲織做產品比有需要人仕， 以此試驗共享生產的模式
Through the mobile workshop, plastic bottles are cut into threads and weaved by everyone to become a product for all. We see this as an experiment of the sharing production model
Why 膠樽 Transforming PET Plastic bottles - why?
據環保署所說，我們每日棄置528萬個膠樽，但我地白白浪費左珍貴資源。膠樽轉化為膠條後耐用且堅韌，輕身更能防水，可塑性非常高，絕對值得我們去動腦筋善用。
According to the Environmental Protection Department, in Hong Kong 5,280,000 bottle are wasted each day. This huge resource could be transformed into a highly flexible thread: waterproof, lightweight and strong, there is a lot of potential in this material.

The mobile workshop provides tools and instruction for everyone to participate in production, the workshop is well designed so that everyone can pick up the skills and enjoy the fun of being a maker!

共享生產三部曲
Three step roadmap for sharing production:
我們認為整個生產程序主要由人力，物資及工具三種元素所組成。在共享生產中，生產三元素皆能在社會上聚集得到。
We think of a production system as a mix of three elements: man-power, material and tools. In sharing production, either of these three elements can be community-sourced.
第一階段 Step One: Hands-On Plastic Upcycling Project
為了證實及實踐共享生產的理論，我們的流動膠樽工房正逐步在社會聚集資源
例如：空閒的市民（人力）＋被棄的膠樽 （物資）
在現階段我們會為大眾設計有助把人力和物資結合的工具，用以將膠樽進行升級再造，把產生出的物料轉換成屬於社區的資源，供市民使用。
At this stage, we provide the tools in the workshop, while man-power and material resources (plastic bottles) are community sourced. The system during the time requires volunteers (us) to design and develop the tools in order to kick-start the cycle. SDOI Core Team suggests the end products in this mobile workshop design.
第二階段 Step Two: Open Source Production
隨第一階段的普及，市民對共享生產的認識和興趣加深，我們能由工具設計者的角色轉變為技術提供者，把工具的設計方法放上網上平台或社交媒體。這有助我們把生產三元素聚集於社區上，讓社區人士發揮共享生產的力量。
As we advocate sharing production, our team would open source basic structures of our tools for other makers to refine and create their own version from. We would transform from a tools provider to a skill-sharing agent and a platform that gathers all these tools with man-power and materials. Doing so may maximise the impact of makers involved, ultimately adding value to resources. The community has autonomy to make decisions on the end product ownership.
第三階段 Step Three: Community Action
共享生產的最後階段，是社區會自發聚集生產資源，設計符合各社區的設施。而我們亦能由設計者變為參與者。
Our platform to gather the three elements of production aims to transition to a fully community-led sharing production system. The community gathers themselves by the Internet and other means in a self-initiated state, where a third-party platform is no longer needed.

以共享生產來達至環保，永續，公平及有責任的消費，這樣人、產品、自然才能從新接軌。
To work towards a utopia of sharing production, where our society envisions a more organic, sustainable and fair economic model reconnecting the relationship between man, products and environment.
我們是誰 Who are we:
SDOI是集合設計人想法的組織：由學生發起，跨設計領域，集合眾人想法並引發討論，不論任何身份亦可一起參與社會議題。
We are a group of motivated students from SD Open Ideas who are looking for alternatives of the top-down capitalist production system which caused many environmental and social problems.With diverse skills and knowledge ranging from product design, advertising and communication design, we are set to expand the possibility of sharing economy!
SD Open Ideas is an idea-sharing and change-making platform for all SDees: initiated by students, we are set to stimulate critical discussions and trigger actions towards the common good, in an inter-disciplinary manner regardless of one's experience or background. So far we have more than 150 members on social media with a core team of 15.
